Helped by the frequent nautical theming sprinkled all throughout this record, our protagonist seems submerged and lost in the deep, dark waters of his own mind and experiences. WebThe mollusk represents life’s gifts and the ability to decide what we do with what we’re given. It shows him that the simplicity of the ocean and the sand are present in the odd looking mollusk. These elements are powerful and represent freedom.
