In Nevada you have to wait at least 7 years from the date of conviction to work as a nurse which I have accomplished. Also, in Nevada you can have your record sealed by an order of the court, which I had done in 2016. WebGetting a job is also a no. Schools and employers will run criminal background checks. We have a waiting list of students and any dings on the back ground check and we toss the name out. We run the criminal check with the application so that we don't graduate and charge a nursing student who cannot test or get a job.
