With the shifter in any position I am able to roll the bike around, no amount of humping or coercing/rolling will get it to go into gear. It wont shift into gear when it is running but will when I turn it off. It also will creep at idle. Also at idle and with the brake held the belt starts to squeal. A clue is when you shut engine off, it shifts smooth as butter because the belt is not trying to spin the tranny input. Even tho the one way is in perfect shape, misalignment could be the culprit.
